I agree that a diagnosis such as this can actually be freeing. To me, it's as if the shackles have been removed and we are now free to fully savor life to it's depth and breadth - a gift of sorts. I applaud Mike for his new found freedom from all the non-essentials that formerly occupied his focus and for being able to make such great use of his time. <br /><br />Speaking from my own experience, I can honestly say that I've never been happier since my own diagnosis.
